"My flesh fhall flumber in the ground   Till the last trumpet joyful founds   Then burst the chains with fweet furprise   And in my faviour's image rise."
Benjamin Mead, Esqr.,
An old burying ground in Connecticut can be a delightful place to ponder the mysteries and heritage of New England families. Secluded, quiet, unassuming, and frozen in time, the continued existence of these hallowed graveyards provides testimony to the unsinkable resolve of generations before us not to be forgotten.
It is in this spirit that The Historic Mead Family Burying Grounds Association, Inc., was formed. (click to continue)
